Cloud & Server Infrastructure Analyst

We are looking for a Cloud & Server Infrastructure Analyst to help manage and support our infrastructure environment with a strong focus on AWS cloud platforms and enterprise server systems.

This role will be responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting server environments, improving monitoring and reliability, and working closely with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure platform stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for cloud infrastructure where needed, with a reduced emphasis on day-to-day AWS infrastructure management
• Support Windows and/or Linux server environments as needed
• Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization across database, cloud, and server platforms
• Assist with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards
• Support and maintain SQL database environments, including routine database maintenance, monitoring, and operational support
• Review database logs, alerts, and system events to identify potential issues, performance concerns, or security-related activity
• Work with business users, application owners, DevOps, and engineering teams to investigate and resolve database-related issues
• Recommend changes to SQL database environments to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Assist with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Support database patching, upgrades, maintenance windows, and related change management activities
• Help evaluate and support cloud-based database services, including managed SQL database platforms

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or cloud operations
• Hands-on experience working with AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, etc.) as well as Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting platforms
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• Experience supporting system patching and maintenance processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based database services such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or similar platforms
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, T-SQL, Python, or similar tools
