About The Role

S&OP Supply Manager Essential Duties & Responsibilities

S&OP Process Ownership

  • Own the supply planning cycle within the monthly S&OP process
  • Drive alignment to a consensus supply plan signed off at executive level
  • Identify risks and escalate tradeoffs requiring executive decisions

Supply Plan Execution & Risk Management

  • Translate demand into constrained supply plans aligned to capacity and sourcing realities
  • Proactively identify supply risks (capacity, materials, logistics) and lead mitigation plans
  • Ensure continuity of supply in regulated/critical environments

Financial & Operational Performance

  • Service levels / OTIF
  • Inventory targets & working capital
  • Capacity utilization / cost efficiency
  • Quantify financial implications of supply decisions (inventory, expedite costs, lost sales)

Scenario Planning & Decision Support

  • Lead scenario modeling (upside/downside demand, supply disruptions)
  • Provide decision-ready recommendations to senior leadership

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supply planning dashboards tied to executive KPIs
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and process maturity
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across global operations and suppliers
  • Influence without authority across manufacturing, procurement, and commercial teams

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Business,

Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in formal S&OP / IBP processes
  • Exposure to regulated environments (FDA / ISO) more explicitly
  • Transformation or system implementation experience (optional but high value)
