ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape the creative and functional DNA of Dusk’s platform. As one of the first design leaders, you’ll define how the product looks, feels, and behaves — turning complex workflows into intuitive, visually elegant experiences. You’ll collaborate with founders, engineers, and customers to bring Dusk’s mission to life through design systems, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design for core product surfaces
• Define and evolve Dusk’s design language and component system
• Conduct user research and translate insights into product direction
• Build high-fidelity prototypes that communicate vision and drive alignment
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design quality from concept to release
• Mentor other designers and help scale design culture across the company
• Balance creativity with pragmatism - shipping high-impact, user-centered work

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or creative tooling
• Portfolio showcasing excellent interaction and visual design work
• Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Strong grasp of UX principles, hierarchy, and system thinking
• Proven track record leading 0→1 or platform-level design initiatives
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to stakeholders
• Bonus: experience designing for creative pros, music, or entertainment products
