Ihre Aufgaben

• Wartung, Instandhaltung und Reparatur der automatisierten Förder-, Sortier- und Lagersysteme
• Durchführung von Fehlerdiagnosen sowie nachhaltige Störungsbeseitigung
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung präventiver Wartungspläne zur Minimierung von Ausfallzeiten
• Analyse von Anlagenleistungsdaten und Ableitung von Optimierungs- und Upgrade Maßnahmen
• Verwaltung des Ersatzteillagers und Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit kritischer Komponenten
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit externen Lieferanten und internen Technikteams
• Erstellung von Wartungs- und Bedienungsanleitungen
• Schulung des operativen Personals im sicheren und effizienten Umgang mit der Technik

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik oder vergleichbar
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich automatisierter Logistik- oder Produktionsanlagen
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Mechanik, elektrischer Steuerungstechnik und SPS Programmierung (z. B. Siemens S7)
• Erfahrung im Bereich vorbeugende Wartung und Schmierstoffmanagement
• Ausgeprägte Analysefähigkeit und strukturierte Problemlösungskompetenz
• Hohe Hands-on-Mentalität
• Fließende Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse (Arbeitssprache)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Equipment Maintenance Engineer (m/w/d) to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated systems and technical equipment at our logistics facility in Germany.

Location: Gelsenkirchen, NRW, Germany

Contract: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Shift Work: Required

Probation Period: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• •Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of warehouse automation systems (conveyors, sorters, ASRS, etc.)
• •Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce equipment downtime
• •Analyze performance data and propose optimization or system upgrade solutions
• •Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
• •Collaborate closely with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues
• •Develop maintenance manuals and operational guidelines
• •Train warehouse staff on equipment operation and safety procedures

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• •Minimum 3 years of experience in automated logistics or industrial equipment management
• •Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical control systems, and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7)
• •Familiar with lubrication techniques and standard maintenance tools
• •Strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills
• •Fluent in German or English (working language)
