Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Digital and AI Product Builder to design, build, and ship the digital and AI products behind our digitalization initiatives. This role suits a strong software engineer who enjoys turning business problems into working tools — building AI applications, engineering the data that powers them, and delivering analytics that drive decisions across multiple business units. You will help transform traditional processes into streamlined, data-driven workflows using modern software engineering, data, and AI practices. You will be part of the Strategic Planning Division.

Responsibilities

AI Product Engineering

  • Build and ship LLM-powered products — RAG assistants, natural-language-to-data tools, chatbots, and agents — integrating foundation-model APIs into production applications
  • Design effective prompts and put in place evaluation and guardrails so that outputs are accurate, reliable, and safe in production

Data Engineering and Analytics

  • Build and operate data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and scalable data models on the organisation’s data platform (e.g. lakehouse / data warehouse)
  • Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Build dashboards, reports, and self-serve analytics to support business decision-making
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization

Digitalization and Automation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Automate manual processes and create efficient digital workflows
  • Provide user training, documentation, and support for the tools you build

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Research and evaluate new technologies, AI capabilities, and automation trends
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline data processes, and improve data quality
  • Support digital transformation roadmaps and strategic data initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 1–5 years building software, data, or AI products — e.g. software / AI / data engineering, applied ML, or data analytics. The strongest candidates combine hands-on coding with practical data and AI experience

Technical Skills

Core skills

  • Software engineering: strong programming in Python and SQL, with sound engineering practices — version control (Git), testing, code review, and writing maintainable, production-quality code
  • Data engineering: building and operating data pipelines (ETL/ELT), working with data warehouses / lakehouses (e.g. Databricks), and designing data models that scale beyond spreadsheets
  • AI engineering: building LLM-powered applications (RAG, chatbots, agents), integrating foundation-model APIs, with prompt design and evaluation of output quality, accuracy, and safety
  • Data analytics: SQL plus BI / dashboarding (Power BI or equivalent) to turn data into clear decision support
  • Cloud & APIs: working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and building or consuming APIs

Advantageous (nice to have)

  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query) for rapid internal tooling
  • Vector databases and embeddings, agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph), and MLOps / LLMOps practices
  • Exposure to the real estate or large-enterprise domain

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and an interest in understanding business operations
  • Self-driven, curious, and excited to learn new technologies

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to drive meaningful digital transformation in a leading real estate development company
  • Exposure to end-to-end business processes across multiple functions
  • A collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning
  • Access to modern tools and platforms for data, automation, and AI
  • Career development opportunities in data, digitalization, and technology leadership

Benefits

  • Flexible benefits with comprehensive medical coverage for self and family
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Subsidised rates at Ascott serviced residences-
  • Strong advocate of staff volunteerism
  • Wellness programmes
