About The Role

The Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately and documenting according to departmental policy.

Education & Training

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Experience

None.

Required Certification/Registration/Licensure

  • Current OTA licensure by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational
  • Therapy (NBCOT). Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Must obtain and
  • maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare
  • Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Utilizes a variety of occupational therapy techniques to carry out effective

treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
