Job Summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Piledriverman for our Heavy Civil division in Jefferson, LA. This role involves operating pile-driving equipment to construct foundations for various heavy civil projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate various types of pile-driving equipment, including hydraulic hammers, vibratory hammers, and leads.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine pile locations and depths.
• Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of pile-driving equipment.
• Set and align piles according to specifications, ensuring proper plumb and grade.
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments during operations.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and other trades.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to supervisors.
• Participate in pre-job safety briefings and daily tool-box talks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Piledriverman in heavy civil construction.
• Proven experience operating various types of pile-driving equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
