Receptionist

The purpose of this position is to provide customer and guest relations on the phone or in person. This is accomplished by receiving and directing calls and inquiries, greeting guests, answering questions, providing directions, assisting applicants for positions, accepting deliveries, and ensuring signatures are obtained. Other duties include assisting with human resources functions, maintaining shipping supplies and materials, maintaining records and files, and distributing supplies.

Starting Rate: Minimum: $13.00/hr. - Midpoint: $17.00/hr.

Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for H1-B visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and clerical support by answering the phone, taking messages and referring callers and visitors, maintaining visitor logs and records of appointments, receiving and distributing mail, entering data, composing correspondence, and maintaining files of documents and related information.
• Assists customers by providing information regarding programs and services, providing materials for toll tags, and referring guests to customer service.
• Assists applicants by providing applications and vacancy lists, checking finished applications for completeness and signature, giving instructions to applicants, completing courtesy postcards, and delivering applications to human resources.
• Accepts deliveries by logging information, contacting departments regarding deliveries, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

M inimum

• High school diploma
• Up to 1 year of experience
