ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of the Analytical Team, you will perform analytical testing to support GMP pharmaceutical development programmes at GlycoSyn. The role focuses on delivering high-quality analytical services and efficient outcomes for clients.

In addition, you will undertake general laboratory analyses, maintain a safe and organised laboratory environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes, procedures, and quality systems.

ABOUT YOU

You are an analytical chemist with a strong understanding of chromatographic and quantitative analytical techniques. You combine technical expertise with a meticulous approach to quality and compliance, and you are comfortable working within a regulated GMP environment.

To be successful you will bring

  • Extensive experience with chromatographic techniques for the analysis of organic compounds.
  • Practical knowledge of HPLC/UPLC/IC, GC, IR spectroscopy, titration (including Karl-Fischer), and mass spectrometry.
  • Experience operating modern chromatographic instrumentation and LC columns.
  • Experience working within GMP quality systems, with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Working knowledge of Waters® Empower® software
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
