About the Role / Joining the Artelia Airports Hong Kong office as an Architect means stepping into an 'intrapreneurial' environment as a core member of an integrated, multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full project lifecycle of airport design projects, driving progress from initial concept through to construction completion.
- Develop, refine, and review comprehensive production drawings and technical packages to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Perform specialized research to resolve complex design challenges and establish rigorous project parameters and technical specifications.
- Produce high-impact design presentations , utilizing 2D/3D modeling, physical mock-ups, and advanced renderings to align stakeholders and resolve design conflicts.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement , coordinating with clients and consultants to address technical issues from design development through to execution and final handover.
Experience & Education
- 3–7 years of demonstrable experience within the architectural industry; direct involvement in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects is highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an internationally recognized university or school.
Technical Skills
- Design & Computational Modeling: Advanced 3D modeling proficiency is essential; Rhinoceros is required, expertise in parametric modeling like Grasshopper is highly advantageous.
- Drawings & BIM: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Working knowledge of Revit or other BIM platforms is a significant asset in our integrated design workflow.
- Visual Communication: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) for high-quality graphic production and storytelling.
- Design Intuition: Strong hand-sketching abilities are valued for rapid concept communication and design exploration.
- Other Tools: Full competency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for project coordination and data management.

- Agility & Innovation: A creative thinker with a high capacity for rapid learning and the ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Interpersonal Quality: Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and build professional rapport with external clients.
- Linguistic Versatility: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or French is a distinct advantage for regional and international project coordination.
