Electrical Engineer MV Network Assessment

About The Role
1- QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- More than 10 years of experience in MV Network Survey and assessment for critical infrastructures such as Airports, Power Plants, etc.
- Experience in MV Network rehabilitation projects
- Experience in projects in GCC, mainly in UAE and KSA
- Knowledge of IEC and IEEE Standards as well as SEC (Saudi Electrical Company) standards
2- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform site assessment to MV Equipment such as MV Switchgears, RMUs, MV transformers, MV Generators, DC Battery System, MV Cables, cable routes and containments, SCADA system, etc.
- Verify existing electrical installations against as-built drawings and available documentation and help remote team to produce any drawings based on the site conditions
- Collect technical data required for electrical engineering studies
- Assess the condition, performance, reliability, and remaining service life of electrical assets
- Identify safety hazards, operational constraints, equipment deterioration, and non-compliance with applicable standards
- Develop Risk Assessment Reports
- Develop Site Condition Assessment Report
- Support the development of rehabilitation, migration, and phasing strategy report
- Support the development of demolition and dismantling plans
- Prepare asset inventories and update existing electrical records
- Coordinate directly with utility companies, clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate with the design team with required inputs to develop a proper design based on the site actual condition
