Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the leasing of retail units and pop-up locations to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Develop leasing strategy which aligns with overall IR retail strategy and execute

plans to achieve desired retail mix and rental income targets.

  • Lease management - comprising prospecting, sourcing of new desired retail concepts, marketing and negotiation for new and lease renewals and any other lease-related matters.
  • Identify emerging retail trends and opportunities for retail spaces.
  • Manage leasing inquiries and database.
  • Review and ensuring lease documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders; e.g. with Retail.
  • Tenancy Co-ordination team for renovation matters; with legal on completion of lease documentation, with Retail Management on daily operational matters.
  • Building and maintain strong Landlord-Tenant rapport for on-going discussions with regards to tenants’ performance and business direction.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive benchmarking to monitor industry developments and competitor activities.
  • Preparation of leasing budgets, management reports and presentations.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Real Estate Management.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leasing role of a major shopping center or retail agency or retail group.

Other Prerequisites

  • Have a track record of concluding negotiation and leases with retailers.
  • Experience with luxury retailers.
  • Familiarity and strong interest in F&B.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to details.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and capable of working in a team & independently in a face-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel.
