About The Role

[What the role is]

Support Managers in overseeing the administration and operations of PAssion Wave outlets, ensuring the consistent delivery of quality and safe water sports and waterfront lifestyle programmes for young families, PMETs and youths.

[What you will be working on]

  1. Administration & Operations

Manage day-to-day outlet operations and administrative functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of PAssion Wave outlets in line with PA's missions and objectives.

  1. Safety, Quality & Facility Management

Monitor and evaluate trainer performance and safety standards, and conduct safety operations including launching and driving powerboat and tractor for search and rescue, participant launch and recovery, to maintain a high level of programme quality and ensure a safe environment for all activities and effective emergency response when required. Oversee maintenance of buildings, infrastructure and equipment inventory to ensure a safe, functional and well-resourced environment for outlet activities.

  1. Programme & Activity Coordination

Plan and coordinate water sports, waterfront lifestyle courses and programmes in collaboration with volunteers and trainers to deliver quality and engaging offerings.

  1. Grassroots & Partners Engagement

Build and strengthen networks with PA Divisions, Grassroot Organisations, corporate partners and community groups to widen outreach, deepen community engagement and support the growth of interest groups and volunteer networks.

  1. Other Duties
  • Coordinates ad-hoc projects and participates in Task Forces as required, while undertaking any other duties assigned by senior officers
  • [What we are looking for]

Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants should have 1 year of experience in water sports, community engagement, and/or programme coordination.
  • Able to swim at least 50 metres unaided and be willing to work on weekends.

Desirable attributes include -

  • Holds the Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence, Lifesaving 1,2 & 3 certifications, and knowledge in Risk Assessment and Management.
  • Proactive self-starter with good time management skills.
  • Analytical, innovative, and forward-thinking approach.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, presentation and commmuication skills.
  • Safety-conscious with understanding of water sports operations and risk management.
  • Passionate about enabling community engagement through water sports and recreational activities.
  • Possess computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, Power Points, Excel.
