About The Role

[What the role is]

Implement day-to-day administration and operations of PAssion Wave outlet to facilitate smooth and efficient functioning. Plan, develop and deliver quality water sports programmes to connect the community through waterfront activities and volunteering opportunities, in partnership with stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to collaborate on initiatives, empowering participants to engage in water sports and community activities.

[What you will be working on]

Partnership Development & Community Engagement

  • Develop and nurture collaborations with water sports associations, educational institutions, and community partners using data-driven insights
  • Establish networks with PA divisions, grassroots organisations, and corporate partners for programme support and participation
  • Strengthen existing partnerships through evidence-based programme co-creation and impact measurement
  • Develop frameworks to recruit, engage, and retain community partners with relationship management strategies
  • Co-curate and customise water sports programmes with stakeholders for local community engagement opportunities

Programme Development & Implementation

  • Design, implement, and evaluate innovative water sports programmes incorporating key performance indicators to measure success
  • Develop, promote, and implement existing and new initiatives amplifying PAssion Wave purpose and community engagement
  • Coordinate with vendors, trainers, and partners establishing performance metrics for programme delivery excellence
  • Lead water sports events and community activities promoting and showcasing PAssion Wave programmes
  • Enhance vibrancy of PAssion Wave and sustain participant engagement through trending programme conceptualisation

Operations, Safety & Facilities Management

  • Ensure all programmes and activities align with PAssion Wave policies and safety procedures through systematic compliance monitoring
  • Oversee outlet's administrative functions utilising performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support safety protocols and operational standards maintaining water sports safety compliance
  • To perform safety operations including and not limited: launching/ driving the powerboat to perform search and rescue where needed,
  • Launch and recover participants and ensure activities are conducted in a safe environment
  • Manage daily facility operations including equipment maintenance, storage, and facility upkeep
  • Coordinate facility bookings, space allocation, and resource scheduling for optimal utilisation
  • Implement systematic inspection for facility and equipment maintenance ensuring safety standards and operational readiness
  • Prepare and analyse operational reports tracking programme KPIs and recommending improvements
  • Manage, monitor, and analyse feedback maintaining high-quality service standards and timely responses

Financial Support & Resource Management

  • Support outlet budget management and financial compliance procedures
  • Assist in monitoring programme financial performance and cost-effectiveness measures
  • Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and operational records
  • Support procurement processes ensuring compliance with PA procedures

Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.

  • Represent PAssion Wave in cross-PA initiatives providing evidence-based insights and administrative support
  • Support projects and initiatives of other departments/taskforces as assigned
  • Execute additional duties assigned by PA Senior Officers

[What we are looking for]

Miimum Requirements

  • Applicants should have 1-2 years of experience in water sports management, community engagement, and/or programme coordination, with exposure to diverse community stakeholders.
  • They must be able to swim at least 50 meters unaided and be willing to work on weekends.

Desirable attributes include

  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Holds the Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence, Lifesaving 1, 2 & 3 certifications, and knowledge in Risk Assessment and Management
  • Proactive self-starter with good time management skills
  • Analytical, innovative, and forward-thinking approach
  • Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with social media analytics knowledge
  • Safety-conscious with understanding of water sports operations and risk management
  • Passionate about enabling community engagement through water sports and recreational activities
