About The Role
[What the role is]
You will play a role in championing the workforce transformation and reskilling needs of enterprises in the Infocomm Media sector. We are seeking a candidate with strong business development or enterprise solutions experience, especially in engaging companies to identify how Workforce Singapore’s initiatives can support their business transformation and manpower needs.
[What you will be working on]
Enable industry and enterprise capabilities through strategic manpower planning
- Identify and assess key industry, manpower challenges and skills through data analysis and trend evaluation.
- Engage strategic accounts and companies to ascertain company’s manpower related and reskilling pain points and work with companies to implement strategies for workforce transformation.
- Recommend strategic human capital solutions aligning with industry or enterprises’ business and manpower needs.
- Support the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) and Jobs Transformation Map (JTM) to articulate key insights and trends, particularly the Jobs and Skills pillar.
- Implement pilot initiatives to identify proof points and use cases related to the national career health agenda.
Forge impactful partnerships and collaborations through stakeholder engagement
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with public agencies, strategic partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders, trade associations, tripartite partners and programme partners to develop and implement relevant manpower interventions to address industry manpower issues.
- Consult with employers to promote adoption of WSG programmes and progressive human resource practices to address their manpower needs.
Manage and review programmes to achieve positive outcomes
- Guide and work with appointed programme partners to ensure compliance with policies and processes.
- Organise or support outreach and marketing events such as career events and industry engagements.
- Track programmes’ progress and analyse industry related information to evaluate and make recommendations for management decision making.
- [What we are looking for]
- At least three years of working experience in related roles. Fresh graduates who possess maturity, strong communication and interpersonal skills are welcome to apply.
You should possess the following skill sets
- Account Management and Business Development : Effective stakeholder engagement, with a focus on account/project management or consultancy to support enterprises in their business and workforce transformation. Utilise trend analysis and government initiatives to drive business strategies and growth.
- Written and Verbal Communication : Proficient in writing clear submissions and reports, and able to frame appropriate narratives to effectively engage diverse audiences, and skilled in public speaking.
- Negotiation : Able to strategize negotiation, formulate gameplan and engage in complex discussion to drive collaboration and implementation with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Personal effectiveness : Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and work both independently and in teams.
- Critical thinking and Data Proficiency : Proficient in synthesizing information for decision-making and outcome monitoring through data compilation, analysis, and interpretation. Capable of making recommendations based on data insights and comfortable with data analysis.
- Planning and execution : Develop and execute engagement and programme strategy to achieve organisation goals. Track and report on account-managed companies and programme partners achievements to identify opportunities. Capable of diagnosing gaps and identify opportunities and conceptualise innovative solutions to enhance business and/ or programme processes.
- Project management : Manage multiple accounts, project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Able to coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure the success of the projects.
Successful candidates will be offered a contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
