About The Role

Job Location : Mumbai,Pune & Ahmedabad

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our  Real Estate Valuation team . This role requires  regular travel and site visits , as a significant portion of the work involves inspecting properties across various locations. The position offers strong exposure to  property valuation, financial modeling, market analysis, and report preparation . The successful candidate will support senior valuers in delivering accurate and timely valuation insights for clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site visits and inspection  to conduct property inspections, assess physical condition, evaluate surroundings, and gather on-ground data.
  • Observe construction quality, neighborhood attributes, access routes, property usage, and local market conditions.
  • Prepare valuation reports for various asset classes including  residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and industrial properties .
  • Study property documents to understand legal status and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models using  DCF, income capitalization, rental analysis, and comparable sales approaches .
  • Collect and analyze market data such as  rental rates, occupancy trends, sale transactions, and local market demand .
  • Compare subject properties with similar assets to determine fair market value.
  • Support due diligence processes for acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and bank loan assessments.
  • Work on  Excel , internal templates, and valuation tools to prepare calculations and structured reports.
  • Collaborate with senior valuers to ensure compliance with  IVS, RICS, and local regulatory standards .
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and valuation insights for internal teams and client meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in  Finance, Economics, Real Estate , or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in  Microsoft Excel , including advanced formulas and financial functions.
  • Basic understanding of real estate markets, valuation principles, and property economics.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with  IVS, RICS , or local valuation regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of real estate financial tools/software such as  Argus  (added advantage).
  • Internship or previous experience in  real estate, finance, valuation, or consulting .
