Concrete Finisher

Key Responsibilities

• Place, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, plinths, bases, footpaths, kerbing, and reinstatement works.
• Produce high-quality concrete finishes using hand and power tools.
• Carry out screeding, floating, edging, and joint finishing.
• Assist with the preparation of formwork and reinforcement where required.
• Ensure correct curing methods are applied to achieve specified concrete strength and finish.
• Read and follow construction drawings and site specifications.
• Work closely with Site Supervisors, Engineers, and other members of the utility gang.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.

Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and relevant Irish regulations. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher on civil engineering or construction projects.
• Safe Pass.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, and curing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel and work on projects throughout Ireland.
• Full clean driving licence is an advantage.
