Position: Welder / Metal Fabricator

Galu Limited specialises in the manufacturing of high-quality buffer tanks. Due to continued business expansion, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will contribute to the fabrication and assembly of metal components in accordance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and steel fabrication tasks in line with established manufacturing specifications and job requirements
• Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Fabricate and assemble metal components with precision and attention to detail
• Assist in the manufacture of buffer tanks, ensuring compliance with company quality standards
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping in the workshop
• Work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in welding and steel fabrication
• Proven workshop-based fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Strong practical welding skills and understanding of fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Experience in tank manufacturing is an advantage but not essential
