Concrete Pump Operator

Sorcon Plant Limited is recruiting experienced Concrete Pump Operators to join their team.

Your Responsibilities

Set up, rig, operate and de-rig concrete pumping equipment safely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and site conditions.

Position outriggers, pipelines, hoses and placing booms correctly and pump concrete accurately to the required areas while communicating with site supervisors, concrete delivery drivers and placing crews.

Carry out daily equipment inspections, identify and report defects, monitor pump pressure and blockages, and complete routine cleaning and basic maintenance after each concrete pour.

Follow site risk assessments, exclusion zones, safety procedures and environmental requirements, complete the necessary job records, and perform other reasonable duties directly associated with concrete pump operations.

Move, sort, and manage materials safely and efficiently

Conduct daily pre-use machine checks and report defects

Follow all on-site health & safety procedures at all times
