Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all rolls, mostly more.

Required experience for this roll

• Lots of experience as Oracle DBA
• Experience from troubleshooting DBs
• Experience from SQL tracing when slow or other problems
• Experience from scripting and automation

Work language: English

Meriting

• Swedish
• Experience from team leading positions, mentoring

Your tasks

• work as a senior Oracle DBA
• The Environment is an Oracle database as an AWS RDS service

• -The current database engine is Oracle Standard Edition One
• -The size of the DB is ~100 GB, 30 GB of RAM and it has ~600 simultaneous connections in peak traffic (even more when the incident occurs)
• -Create a procedure / script to be able to execute tasks without any DBA help
• -Evaluate database setup and configuration and advise what actions to take according to best practices and traffic volume

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant roll

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
