Position Summary

Our client is seeking a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic services to children with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and sensory-motor challenges. The ideal candidate is compassionate, energetic, and committed to helping children build strength, mobility, coordination, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • ▫ Evaluate and assess pediatric patients using standardized and clinical assessment tools
  • ▫ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs and goals
  • ▫ Provide one-on-one therapy sessions in a clinic-based setting
  • ▫ Educate and coach families on home exercise programs and progress strategies
  • ▫ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements
  • ▫ Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other team members
  • ▫ Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture
  • ▫ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • ▫ Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • ▫ Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license (or eligible for licensure)
  • ▫ Pediatric experience preferred (new graduates with strong pediatric interest encouraged to apply)
  • ▫ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ▫ Ability to build rapport with children and families
  • ▫ CPR certification

Preferred Experience

  • ▫ Experience with early intervention, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, torticollis, gait abnormalities, and gross motor delays
  • ▫ Familiarity with sensory integration principles
  • ▫ Experience working in a multidisciplinary pediatric setting
