Head of HR - Malta

• Fast-growing international hih-tech company with an office in Malta, looking for a hands-on Head of HR to develop the local HR.
• This is a key role for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to have real impact on how HR is structured and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop the HR function locally
• Design and implement HR processes, policies, and frameworks
• Oversee full employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, development, offboarding)
• Lead recruitment for Malta office roles
• Support and coach managers on HR and people matters
• Ensure compliance with Maltese employment law
• Oversee basic HR operations and office support
• Act as HR partner to leadership on people strategy

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of HR experience in a standalone or lead HR role
• Experience building HR processes in fast-growing or startup environments
• Hands-on, operational mindset
• Experience in IT, fintech, iGaming or BPO industries - MUST HAVE
• Exposure to customer-facing / operations-heavy teams (e.g. CS, VIP, CRM, Operations)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of Maltese labour law is an advantage
