About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Group Lead to head a distributed Salesforce engineering team based across Eastern Europe. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands-on technical understanding of Salesforce applications, and the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Manage and mentor a team of 8 engineers across Eastern Europe (backend + Salesforce frontend).
  • Provide clear direction, ensure alignment on goals, and maintain execution consistency.
  • Monitor workload, productivity, and performance, ensuring the team works according to plan.
  • Oversee development of a Salesforce-based application.
  • Lead backend development efforts related to carrier integrations in Python.
  • Ensure technical quality, code standards, and scalable solutions.

Delivery & Execution

  • Track and monitor development processes and delivery timelines.
  • Work closely and consistently with the Product Manager to shape the roadmap.
  • Translate roadmap items into detailed execution plans.
  • Manage customer commitments, ensuring expectations and timelines are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the Salesforce-facing point of contact.
  • Work tightly with product, architecture, and other cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering management experience, including 2+ years managing group-level or multi-team structures.
  • Proven experience working as a Salesforce developer or Salesforce team manager
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, and deployment models.
  • Hands-on understanding of backend technologies, especially Python-based integrations.
  • Experience leading distributed and multicultural engineering teams.
  • Strong execution mindset, with the ability to plan, track, and ensure delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
