Job Description

The Real Estate Group is looking for a motivated individual with fund accounting experience to work on the Finance and Operations team. This position is more than a typical accounting role as the team is also heavily involved in fund operations.

• Monthly and quarterly closing of the books
• P repa r at i o n o f fi n a n cial s tat e m ents in a cc o r d a n c e with US G A A P I n v es t m ent C o m p a n y A c c o un ti n g
• I n t e ract with t h e e x t ern a l a ud it and t ax r ep o rti n g p r o c ess e s with b i g 4 fi r m s
• C o m p ile, a n a l y z e a n d pre p are f und s’ fi n a n cial data a n d o p erating m e trics
• C redit facility loan administration and compliance
• Detailed review of expenses, accounts payable and payments for processing
• Coordinate with banks for foreign currency exchange and derivative transactions
• Prepare i n v es t o r r ep o rts, cap i tal call and distri bu ti o n notices
• Maintain i n v es t o r c om m i t m ents and ca p ital a c c o un t statements
• S u pp o rt m ark e ti n g t e a m w i th d a ta c o lle c ti o n a n d ad- ho c req u es t s
• Ass i st a n d c o o r d i n ate with o ther d epa r t m ents in responding to i nqu ir i es f r o m inv e s t o rs
• Calculate m a n a g e m ent f ee a n d carried interest in accordance with funds legal documents
• A ssist with providing financial information needed for c om p lia n c e a n d r e gu lat o r y fil ing s

• 3-5 y ears o f e x p erienc e , p r ef e ra b ly with a C P A
• F u n d administration, ac co un ti n g or audit e x p erien c e preferred with private fund Real Estate or Real Estate Credit experience a plus

• Excellent communication skills, can work effectively with all levels and departments within a complex organization

• Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple funds, competing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Investran a plus

Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
