The Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven supply chain intern to join our Operational excellence team. Are you organized, proactive and excited to work with high‑profile essentials brands? Then this internship could be a great match for you. You will work closely with our Operational excellence team and various internal stakeholders, improving our EDI service portfolio towards customers while investigating the current processes and future opportunities.

You will gain hands‑on experience in O2C daily processes, EDI integrations and process optimization within a dynamic wholesale environment. As our division continues improvement driven, you will have the opportunity to help shape more efficient ways of working and contribute to impactful business & service-related improvements

Your Mission

Your mission at STICHD is to help unlock the full potential of the EDI landscape by identifying efficiency bottlenecks within the daily Order-to-Cash processes, reducing manual interventions and process exceptions, and designing a future-state (TO-BE) O2C process. You will also explore how improved EDI usage can enable additional value-adding services for customers, strengthening STICHD’s service proposition.

• Gaining insight into real-life operational challenges and customer impact
• Working closely with Operational EDI team
• Mapping and analyzing the current O2C and EDI processes (AS-IS)
• Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies and root causes in our daily operations with EDI
• Collaborating with Operation excellence, Commercial excellence and IT teams
• Designing a future-state O2C process driven by EDI (TO-BE)
• Defining improvement initiatives and service opportunities
• Delivering an advisory report and final presentation

Your Talent

• Are enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO) program such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Operations Management
• Have a strong interest in process optimization and supply chain integration
• Enjoy combining hands-on operational work with analytical thinking
• Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Able to switch quickly and handle changes easily in a fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This internship is based in the Netherlands Working remotely from other countries is not possible. To be considered for this internship, you must be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for a work permit.

• An internship allowance of €500 per month based on full‑time hours for a higher professional education (HBO) program, and €350 per month based on full‑time hours for a vocational education (MBO) program.
