About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Lead – Market Expansion to support our growth in Indonesia.

This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader with experience in agency-based, MLM, or insurance distribution models , who is confident in building large teams, opening new markets, and representing the company externally .

You will play a key role in

  • Expanding sales networks
  • Developing new branches
  • Managing and growing large teams
  • Acting as a bridge between local operations and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Market & Business Expansion

  • Identify and develop new market opportunities and potential branch locations
  • Support the setup and initial operations of new branches or sales hubs
  • Build strategic relationships with key partners, community leaders, and stakeholders

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Drive partnerships and collaboration opportunities to accelerate market penetration
  • Represent the company in meetings, events, and external communications
  • Support negotiations and relationship management with Mandarin-speaking partners or principals

Communication & Reporting

  • Act as a communication bridge between local teams and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates on market progress, team growth, and sales performance
  • Share market insights and recommendations to support management decisions

Requirements

Must Have

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken & written)
  • Proven background in sales, business development, or distribution , preferably in:
  • MLM
  • Insurance
  • Agency-based sales organizations
  • Experience managing large teams or networks
  • Strong communication, leadership, and public-relation skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience opening or scaling new branches / markets
  • Background in B2C sales, community-based selling, or field sales
  • Basic understanding of operational and financial performance metrics
  • Prior experience in e-commerce/digital platform is a plus
