About The Role

  • Participates in industry and/or professional organizations in order to maintain and enhance program health and academic integrity.
  • Assists in curriculum health improvements in the assigned program.
  • Attend technical update classes annually to maintain certifications.
  • Participate in recruiting events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • AAS Degree from a 2-year accredited Automotive Service Program
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 5 years of professional industry experience
  • 1-3 years teaching experience preferred
  • Minimum of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification for subject taught
  • Master ASE Certification preferred
  • ASE L-1 & L-3 preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft office products
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others in an academic environment
