We're seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport and logistics needs.

Lindsay Transport | Melbourne Depot

Our Melbourne Depot is one of our busiest transport hubs. We’re looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join the team to cover the Tuesday to Saturday nightshift operations.

What You’ll Do

• Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
• Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
• Freight Handling – Loading and unloading vehicles; moving freight to and from storage areas; Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution.
• Load Management & Accuracy – Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet
• Equipment Operation – Stabilisation equipment is used as required.

What You'll Bring

• Hold a valid and current forklift licence, with demonstrated operating experience
• Bring experience in warehouse operations, including pick packing and stocktaking
• Demonstrate experience loading and unloading trucks
• Possess refrigeration experience (preferred)
• Be reliable, punctual, and have strong communication skills
• Follow and complete transport documentation accurately
