Key Responsibilities

• Promptly deal with phone and email bookings and queries
• Manifest consignments and ensure freight documentation is accurate and compliant
• Support load planning and daily transport operations
• Coordinate and manage customer orders and job requests
• Liaise with drivers, customers, and operational teams to ensure service expectations are met
• Manage freight bookings, delivery schedules, and customer time slot requests
• Debrief driver paperwork and close out daily runs
• Assist with depot pallet control and tracking
• Maintain transport records and regulatory documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the Administration and Depot Manager
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of depot operations

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a transport administration, operations support, or scheduling role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
• Resilient and adaptable approach, with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Transport industry experience preferred, but not essential — training will be provided to the right candidate
• BFM accreditation, or willingness to obtain, with an understanding of NHVR regulations considered advantageous
