About the Role

As Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of a busy, multi-faceted venue. You will play a key role in leading the front-of-house team, driving service standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager in overall venue operations
• Lead, mentor and motivate front-of-house teams
• Drive outstanding guest experience and service standards
• Assist with rostering, labour control and wage management
• Oversee compliance, safety and operational procedures
• Support stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
• Assist in driving revenue, efficiency and team performance
• Step up and lead the venue in the absence of senior management

About You

• Previous experience in a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Venue Manager role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong understanding of FOH operations, service standards and compliance
• Confident with rostering systems, wage control and venue reporting
• A hands-on leader who thrives in busy, high-energy environments
• Passion for hospitality and developing high-performing teams
