About the Role
As Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of a busy, multi-faceted venue. You will play a key role in leading the front-of-house team, driving service standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Venue Manager in overall venue operations
- Lead, mentor and motivate front-of-house teams
- Drive outstanding guest experience and service standards
- Assist with rostering, labour control and wage management
- Oversee compliance, safety and operational procedures
- Support stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- Assist in driving revenue, efficiency and team performance
- Step up and lead the venue in the absence of senior management
About You
- Previous experience in a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Venue Manager role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of FOH operations, service standards and compliance
- Confident with rostering systems, wage control and venue reporting
- A hands-on leader who thrives in busy, high-energy environments
- Passion for hospitality and developing high-performing teams
