About The Role
Basic Qualifications
- 1.
- High School education or equivalent; Spanish language skills a plus.
- 2.
- Excellent people skills and telephone etiquette required.
- 3.
- Ability to concentrate in a fast-paced office environment, must be able to multi-task
- 4.
- Must be self-motivated and able to complete assigned duties with limited supervision.
- 5.
- Must possess the ability to receive directions and follow through in an appropriate manner.
- 6.
- Must be able to interface with the public and county employees in a consistent professional manner.
- 7.
- Familiar with HIPAA (Health Insurance portability and Accountability Act) rules.
- 8.
- Must have working knowledge of Windows, MS Outlook, Word & Excel, typing/data entry skills.
Examples of Job Duties
- 1.
- Greet public clients, answer telephone, transfer calls to appropriate individual / take accurate messages.
- 2.
- File/work medical charts.
- 3.
- Organize STD clinic clients, complete required documentation.
- 4.
- Request medical records, copy and mail medical records to outside medical facilities/agencies.
- 5.
- Data entry, clerical support, payroll support.
- 6.
- Assume any other duties assigned by department head or supervisor.
- 7.
- Email Point of Contact & Monthly Dept. Activity Report.
- 8.
- Hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
- $31,342.00 annually
