Basic Qualifications
- 1.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
- 2.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Certified Medical Training Preferred.
- 3.
- Knowledge of Computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point).
- 4.
- Ability to work within a Medical team environment and prioritize duties.
- 5.
- Ability to interpret policies and to implement procedures.
- 6.
- Ability to completed required work with minimal supervision.
- 7.
- Ability to explain complex information at all appropriate levels for groups and individuals.
Examples of Job Duties
1.
Complete patient assistance applications and interacts with Drug Companies and Pharmacies to provide medication for approved indigent patients.
2.
Processes departmental invoices, sets up requisitions, submits purchase orders for payment, including office supplies for staff.
3.
Support other office staff in their absence ie Case Workers, and when needed, septic applications for the Health Inspector.
4.
Performs clerical duties for office staff including mail run, office deliveries at other facilities.
5.
Performs research and compiles data for special projects, reports or other publications, as assigned, prepares correspondence ensuring completion by specified deadlines and in accordance with department
- goals and objectives.
