About The Role

Basic Qualifications

  • 1.
  • Working knowledge of materials, equipment, techniques, and procedures used in the maintenance and repair of all facility systems
  • 2.
  • High School education or equivalent
  • 3.
  • Experience in trouble shooting and repair of electrical equipment, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing
  • 4.
  • Experience in repairing motors, pumps, compressors, etc.
  • 5.
  • One-year electrical experience
  • 6.
  • One-year mechanical experience
  • 7.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

Examples of Job Duties

  • 1.
  • Repairs and preventative maintenance
  • 2.
  • Replacing switches and motors as necessary
  • 3.
  • Inspect mechanical equipment for proper operation and compliance with regulations, replacing bearings and motors as required
  • 4.
  • Understand building controls and the systems associated with each
  • 5.
  • Trouble shoot and repair systems and provides quick response to interruptions
  • 6.
  • Maintenance and repair electrical devices (including high voltage), repair electrical wiring, replace light bulbs and ballasts
  • 7.
  • Replace pumps, rusted pipes, and gaskets
  • 8.
  • Install commodes, sinks, clean out floor drains and sinks and repairs to property
  • 9.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
  • $18.90 hourly
