About The Role
The Pickering Group is a family-owned, UK-based electronics manufacturer established in 1968, specializing in high-quality switching, simulation, and relay products for industries like aerospace, automotive, and defense .
The applicant will be focused on assisting the Compliance Manager in the day-to-day coverage of Pickering Group product compliance. The applicant will be upskilled to the point of being able to carry out assessments and testing independently. Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with different departments within the Pickering Group to develop plans for implementing processes for meeting compliance objectives
- Help assess our range of Pickering products to the relevant legislation
- Produce documents and reports based on information provided by the design and test teams
- Compile the relevant documents for each product into a Technical Construction File with a view to NRTL certification.
- Liaise with NRTL's to pass product groups into certificates and assist in audits.
Required Qualifications
- Education: HNC or above in a STEM subject.
or
Experience: 2 years experience in a compliance or engineering related role.
- Competencies: Professional report writing in Microsoft Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training on CE marking for the Machinery Directive and Low Voltage Directive.

- Able to think creatively to tackle compliance issues with minimal impact on the business.
