Purchasing Specialist

The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for identifying and developing qualified suppliers, negotiating and establishing long-term agreements with selected vendors, and managing the full implementation of sourcing and cost-reduction projects through effective project management. Working closely with Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams, the role drives supplier development, supports new product introduction and vendor quotation processes, facilitates quality improvement initiatives, and ensures on-time delivery. To continuously enhance Manitowoc’s competitiveness, the Sourcing Engineer proactively seeks low-cost, high-quality suppliers that can provide excellent products and services while supporting the company’s operational and strategic objectives.
