Assistant Community Manager - Legacy North

About The Role
Responsibilities
- Act as supervisor  when the Community Manager is absent, attend meetings on their behalf, and complete assigned special projects.
- Manage all leasing functions  including tours, traffic entry, prospect follow‑ups, application processing, and maintaining required conversion ratios.
- Provide responsive customer service  by handling walk‑ins, calls, internet leads, resident concerns, and resolving issues within 24 hours.
- Conduct daily property inspections  to ensure cleanliness, prepare units for showings/move‑ins, and coordinate turnkey and maintenance needs.
- Oversee move‑in and move‑out processes  including scheduling, file preparation, unit inspections, and minimizing rent loss.
- Manage all property-level accounting operations for a large, high-volume multifamily residential community. Ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient accounting workflows, and compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Handle rent collection and delinquency  through daily deposits, issuing late/demand letters, managing returned checks, and filing dispossessory actions.
- Process administrative and financial paperwork  such as invoices, payables, billing residents, maintaining logs, and verifying vendor statements.
- Support overall operations  by shopping competitors, reviewing financials, participating in grounds walks, maintaining key control, and completing additional assigned duties.
Requirements
- Multi-family property management experience.
- Valid driver's license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation.
