Hardware (Electrical) Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

• Spend a summer designing and bringing up real electronics alongside the founding hardware team.
• What you'll do

• Contribute to schematic capture and PCB layout for Blackstar's hardware.
• Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review.
• Work directly with senior engineers on board bring-up and lab debugging.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent).
• Available to work full-time and in person in San Francisco for at least 10 weeks.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
• Personal projects, research, or coursework involving hardware design.
