  • Resource Optimization:  Allocate labor, workshop floor space, outdoor staging bays, and shared overhead or mobile cranes among competing project cells based on schedules set by Project Managers and the GM.
  • Technical Interface:  Collaborate with the Design Support Specialist to resolve workshop discrepancies, drawing bottlenecks, and complex structural or electrical yard assembly issues.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance:  Lead the workshop and construction yard safety culture, ensuring all crews comply with OSHA standards and that all modular assembly work passes code inspections.

Required Knowledge/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of experience supervising multi-trade industrial fabrication, heavy commercial construction, or modular building assembly operations.
  • Expert ability to read and interpret complex industrial structural prints and electrical routing systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven history of managing diverse trade crews and trade foremen.

Supervisory Requirements

  • Manage trade crews and trade foremen.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior background overseeing construction or manufacturing specifically for custom Power Distribution Centers (PDCs).
  • Advanced OSHA safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour Construction/General Industry).

Physical Requirements

  • Continuous walking and standing across an active industrial work shop and outdoor yard footprint.
  • Ability to climb ladders, inspect roof lines, and safely traverse uneven outdoor yard terrain.
  • Resilience to working in non-climate-controlled shop structures and varied outdoor weather conditions.

Success Measures

  • Direct execution of building schedules, hitting division delivery deadlines consistently.
  • High labor productivity and minimal down-time across the structural, assembly, and electrical teams.
  • Maintenance of an exemplary plant safety record with zero stop-work safety infractions.
