Maintenance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• ● Leadership & Oversight: Provide direct management and daily oversight of the
• VNY-based maintenance team, including technicians, controllers, planners, and inventory
• staff.
• ● Operational Readiness: Ensure the fleet (ERJ 135, Legacy 600, GIV-SP) is maintained to
• the highest safety and reliability standards to meet Aero’s premium service schedule.
• ● Succession & Support: Act as the DOM’s primary Deputy, providing onsite support and
• management to the maintenance team.
• ● Process Management: Streamline maintenance planning and parts inventory processes
• to maximize aircraft availability.
• ● Culture of Safety: Foster a culture of accountability and transparency, ensuring all team
• members adhere to safety-sensitive protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

• ● Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required and must be free of suspensions
• ● Part 135 Expertise: Extensive experience in Part 135 maintenance operations is
• required.
• ● Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on and management experience with Gulfstream
• airframes (specifically G-IV series) and Embraer 135/Legacy platforms.
• ● Management Experience: Significant experience in team leadership and AOC
• management within a high-tempo aviation environment.
• ● Regulatory Knowledge: Strong background in FAA interactions, including audits,
• conformity, and regulatory reporting.
• ● Certification: Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (IA preferred).
• ● Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams
• and report to executive leadership.
• ● Availability: Ability to work varying hours and remain on-call as needed to support a
• dynamic Part 135 operation.
• ● Compliance: Must fulfill TSA criminal background checks (CHRC) and satisfy DOT drug
• testing requirements.
• ● Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
