Protection Coordinator Uganda Kampala

The Protection Coordinator is responsible for providing strategic leadership, technical oversight, and operational coordination of NRC’s protection programming to ensure the delivery of high-quality, principled, and accountable protection interventions that safeguard the rights, safety, dignity, and well-being of refugees, internally displaced persons, returnees, and vulnerable host communities in line with NRC strategies, humanitarian standards, donor requirements, and national and international protection frameworks. The role ensures effective programme implementation, quality assurance, capacity strengthening, stakeholder engagement, and integration of protection approaches across NRC programmes while supporting evidence-based advocacy and contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives.
