About The Role
Who we are?
We're a fast-growing telehealth product launched in 2025, backed by an established e-commerce company with roots going back to 2012. We're focused on the US market, building a platform that connects patients with doctors for real medical care: think weight-loss treatment, prescriptions, and insurance-covered telehealth visits, all wrapped in a strict, HIPAA-conscious environment. Our user base is growing fast, and our team is remote-first across multiple countries.
Role Overview
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will expand automation coverage across the web application, APIs, and integrations. Your primary mission is to develop the Playwright/TypeScript automation framework, establish reliable automation practices, and integrate automated verification into the engineering delivery process.
This is a hands-on individual contributor position without people-management responsibility. You'll work with a stack that includes Magento 2, Python microservices, and ReactJS on the product side, Playwright/TypeScript for automation, and CI/CD on AWS — with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Slack for engineering collaboration, and AI-assisted development and code review as part of daily practice.
What you'll do
- Build automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end coverage for critical healthcare and transactional workflows.
- Integrate reliable automated test execution into GitHub-based CI/CD workflows.
- Establish standards for test structure, data management, reporting, failure diagnosis, and flakiness control.
- Analyze failures and work with the engineering team to improve product testability.
- Convert high-value regression scenarios into maintainable automated coverage.
- Review automation contributions and help existing QA engineers develop automation skills.
- Define and report meaningful automation metrics, including reliability, execution time, critical-flow coverage, and manual-regression reduction.
Team & culture
- You'll work closely with the QA Team Lead and the engineering team to raise the bar on automation practices.
- The company is scaling its automation practice essentially from the ground up, so you'll have real influence over how it's architected.
Hiring process
- Intro call with recruiter (30 minutes)
- Technical interview with the QA Team Lead / engineering team
- Final interview with the CTO
- Offer and onboarding
Benefits
- Competitive compensation based on your skills and experience.
- Flexible schedule and remote work options.

- 5 paid sick days per year.
