Your Tasks

• You analyse and quantify market and liquidity risks across all our business activities – from Retail and Wholesale Banking to Group Treasury – and create the foundation for sound decisions in a dynamic market environment.
• You help us in modelling our client products and analysing customer behaviour, e. g. regarding prepayment rights in mortgage financing. Here, you critically question assumptions and methods, evaluate their impact on our risk profile, and contribute to the further development of our risk measurement and monitoring.
• You diligently assess interest rate risks as well as the suitability of hedging strategies and derivative investments. Through scenario analyses, stress tests and the critical review of models and assumptions, you play a key part in our independent risk monitoring.
• Of course, you always keep a close eye on market developments and support us in taking the right steps in challenging situations.
• As a part of the Second Line of Defence, you advise and challenge the First LoD, evaluate risk-relevant decisions and monitor compliance with market and liquidity risk limits. Your judgement ensures an equal assessment of opportunities and risks.
• Teamwork is key to success: You collaborate closely with colleagues from across the bank as well as the Head Office, develop group-wide standards and put them into practice.

Your Profile

• Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics or a similar qualification
• Professional experience in a comparable position combined with strong capital markets expertise
• Ideally, experience in analysing and evaluating large data sets
• Excellent Python skills
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and tailor them to target audiences
• Analytical mindset, initiative and creativity
• Open to cultural diversity in an international environment
• Very good German and English, both written and spoken
