Multi-Site Forester

Primary Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, planning, and execution of forestry operations
• Prioritize work activities for the forestry department and vendors
• Harvest planning and supervision
• Implement silvicultural prescriptions
• Asset protection
• Conduct forest inventories
• Streamside management zone and boundary marking
• Collect GPS field data
• Prescribed burning
• Logging and planting supervision
• Computer-based reporting and management

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in forestry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field
• Outstanding safety record across all previous employment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ESRI software
• Experience conducting performance assessments and applying appropriate control measures
• Timber-sales administration and inspections
• Forest measurements
