Pharmacy Technician - Finglas West

• We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickey's Cappagh, Finglas Pharmacy.
• This is a 40-hour (Monday to Friday, every 3rd Saturday) Specified Purpose position.
• The stores' opening hours operate between 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and are closed on Sunday.
• The team currently comprises a Managing Pharmacist, another part-time Technician role and 2 Sales Assistants.
• This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy
• Technician Studies an advantage
