O'Brien is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support our Procurement function by transforming spend and financial data into meaningful insights that drive smarter purchasing decisions, improve supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
This role will play a key part in building and enhancing our procurement analytics capability, enabling better business outcomes across the organisation.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, you will
- Analyse procurement and financial data to identify trends, risks and savings opportunities
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar visualisation tools
- Support spend analysis, supplier performance reporting and sourcing initiatives
- Build, maintain and improve procurement reporting frameworks and data quality
- Partner with Procurement Managers to deliver actionable insights and drive better business outcomes
- Present clear, commercially relevant insights to stakeholders and senior leaders
About You
Essential
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query and complex formulas
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to translate data into practical business insights and recommendations
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance analytics
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
- Experience with spend analytics and procurement reporting
