Logan Health is seeking a dependable and organized Receiving & Distribution Specialist to join our team in Kalispell on a PRN, as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and wants to support patient care without working in a clinical role.

In this position, you will help ensure departments throughout Logan Health receive the supplies and materials they need to operate safely and efficiently. From receiving shipments and maintaining inventory to delivering products throughout the organization, your work will make an important difference every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive incoming products and confirm shipments are complete and accurate.
  • Organize supplies to support safe and efficient product flow.
  • Enter receipts into the appropriate inventory system, verifying purchase orders, quantities, and packing units.
  • Deliver supplies and products to designated departments and locations.
  • Prepare packages and documentation for outgoing shipments.
  • Replenish, count, and rotate inventory according to department procedures.
  • Use computerized systems and barcode scanners to track supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and update computerized stock records.
  • Break down boxes and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform driving and delivery responsibilities when assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, inventory, distribution, or supply-chain operations is preferred.
  • Experience using barcode scanners for inventory and replenishment is preferred.
  • Basic business math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize responsibilities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality work with integrity, kindness, professionalism, and respect.
  • Forklift certification when required for the assigned work area.

Candidates assigned to driving responsibilities must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the previous 36 months. Personal vehicles used for Logan Health business must carry the minimum liability coverage required by state law.

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
