Job Description Summary

• Guide and supervise other staffs and workers in the proper execution of breeding experiments according to established protocols and SOP.
• Provide regular update of trials through field visits, analysis and reports. Make recommendations in a timely manner.

Job Description

• Monitor the progress of plant breeding, molecular biology or agronomy trials in designated regions.
• Regularly update trial reports.
• Analyze trial results and submit scientific reports.
• Support the breeding program through molecular and quantitative breeding approaches.
• Conduct genetic/genomic data analysis using relevant molecular genomics software.
• Monitor and support lab and field teams in executing daily technical tasks.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree (S-2) in Plant Breeding or Agronomy.
• Bachelor’s degree (S-1) may be considered with relevant experience.
• Preferably experienced in field/research work.
• Knowledge of quantitative genetics and oil palm plantation systems is a plus.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Willing to be based in Riau.
