About The Role

Wood Minerals & Metals is looking to appoint a Site Safety Officer to join the HSEC team on the Etango Mine construction site, located approximately 35 km from Swakopmund, Namibia. The project involves the construction of an 8 Mtpa uranium mine, with major civil and earthworks activities currently underway. The successful candidate will report directly to the HSEC Manager and provide hands-on safety support across the construction site.

The Site Safety Officer will play a key role in ensuring compliance with project HSEC requirements, legal obligations, and contractor safety standards. The position will support the HSEC Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Manager in driving a strong safety culture and maintaining safe work practices across all site activities
