Job Summary
The event management assistant student employee is responsible for assisting in all game day duties for Lindenwood Athletics home events and outside rentals. This position is designated the event operations contact for assigned sports.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators
The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Job Responsibilities
- Acts as the primary game day contact for assigned sports
- Designs and schedules all advertisements on TV displays throughout campus
- Acts as a liaison with football referees
- Prepares visiting team guides
- Operates video board in Hyland Arena, Hunter Stadium and Centene Community Ice Center
- Provides excellent attention to detail and customer service to ensure optimal game day experiences
- Works closely with coaches on game day activities
- Assists in scheduling and supervising student employee positions
- Provides event setup for athletic fields and arenas
- Sells tickets for home events
- Develops and implements promotions for assigned sports
- Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
- Job may require other duties as assigned.
- Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Currently enrolled at Lindenwood University
- Good academic and financial standing with the university
