About The Role
As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SSDET) , you will be working in a high-energy team , developing and executing automated tests using best - in-class engineering practices . Passion for software development and quality is critical , as this role plays a key part in modernizing the testing ecosystem .
You will contribute to the migration from Leapwork to Playwright , building scalable , maintainable test automation solutions . Ideal candidates are software engineers with strong testing experience who are highly hands-on and comfortable working in complex systems .
Location: Only LATAM - 100% Remote.
Working hours are based on the US Central–Eastern Time Zone .

Key Responsibilities
- Develop , execute , and maintain automated test suites using Playwright .
- Participate in the migration from Leapwork to Playwright .
- Identify test scenarios , acceptance criteria , and risks based on requirements .
- Develop end-to-end , integration , and API tests .
- Write clean , maintainable automation code following SOLID principles .
- Execute automated tests to validate functionality , performance, and scalability .
- Integrate tests into continuous delivery pipelines.
- Perform exploratory testing of new features .
- Identify , document , and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment .
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and tooling .
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with testing focus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright ( mandatory ).
- Strong programming skills in at least one OOP language (Java, C# , etc.).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing and database testing .
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills .
- Experience modernizing or transitioning testing frameworks is a plus.

- Experience with AI- driven testing approaches .
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools .
- Experience with Cloud- based testing .
